College Football Week 1 Preview & Picks Recap
The College Football Experience (@TCEonSGPN) on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network continues its 2026 season coverage with college football Week 1 picks, a marathon preview of the entire weekend slate. Pick Dundee aka (@TheColbyD), Ryan McIntyre (@Moneyline_Mac) and CJ Sullivan (@CJSullivan_) run through every game on the weekend board and hand out their best bets. Can Clemson hang in Death Valley as a double-digit dog at LSU? Do the guys trust Wisconsin plus the points against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field? Is Louisville the outright play against Ole Miss in Nashville? Does Washington State plus a mountain of points make the Apple Cup interesting? Is Marshall live at Penn State, and can Baylor knock off Auburn in Atlanta?
The guys stack their locks from the noon kicks to the Pac-12 after dark window, hammering App State, Towson plus the points at Navy, SEMO at Iowa State, Boston College at Cincinnati, Sam Houston at Troy and FIU at South Florida, then split on UCLA at Cal and SMU at Florida State. College Football Week 1 Picks: The Marquee Slate
The board opens with Clemson at LSU in Death Valley. First, Colby and Mac took Clemson plus the 10.5. CJ went a step further and grabbed the Tigers on the moneyline. From there, the guys moved to Lambeau Field. All three locked Wisconsin plus the 20.5, and CJ sprinkled the outright on top. Meanwhile, Ole Miss and Louisville meet in Nashville, and all three locked Louisville to win it straight up. The Apple Cup got the same treatment, with Washington State plus 23.5 the play of the room. Finally, SMU at Florida State splits the crew. Colby and CJ ride SMU, while Mac backs Mike Norvell and the Noles at home.
The Triple Locks From Noon To Midnight
The triple locks stack up fast on this card. To start, App State laying 18.5 against Maine got the full three-man treatment. So did Towson plus 31.5 at Navy, with the under attached. From there, the guys grabbed SEMO plus 29.5 at Iowa State and Boston College plus 7.5 at Cincinnati. They added Sam Houston plus 16.5 at Troy and FIU plus 14.5 at South Florida. They also hammered Memphis over Arkansas State in the Battle for the Paint Bucket. Utah State at home against Idaho State made the list too. Finally, Marshall plus 24.5 at Penn State came with a first-half moneyline chaser. Baylor plus 7.5 against Auburn in Atlanta rounded out the group plays.
The Late Window And The Small-School Board
The late window is where the show earns the marathon tag. First, Mac locked UCLA at a short number in Berkeley, while Colby and CJ took Cal to win it outright. Then Mac grabbed Hawaii against UNLV, CJ locked the over, and Colby kept the UNLV points. After that, Nevada as a short home favorite over Western Kentucky drew all three of them. And of course, Colby walked the whole FCS and Division II board like he always does. He went from Northern Arizona plus the points in Tucson to Sacramento State laying a huge number at home.
Contest Plays And Colby’s TMZ Teams
Mac closed the night with his contest card. He ran through Nevada, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Baylor, Boston College, Houston and Fresno State. Then Colby unveiled his TMZ teams for the 2026 season. Those are the programs he expects to live in the headlines all year. After four hours and change, the guys had covered every kickoff window from Thursday night through the Monday closer.
