Dan Lanning Keeps Oregon In The Playoff Chase
The Oregon Ducks 2026 preview opens on a program that has become a playoff regular. First, Dan Lanning guided the Ducks to a 13-2 finish in 2025. Then he pushed that career mark to 48-8 at Oregon. That kind of run earns real trust, so the guys start with how high the ceiling sits. Meanwhile, the hot-seat card reads a cool 1 out of 10 for Lanning. The guys break down why the arrow still points straight up in Eugene.
The story gets better when you look at how Oregon got here. First, the Ducks went 13-2 a year ago and lost only twice all season. From there, Lanning kept Oregon in the national title hunt deep into January. Because of that track record, the hosts reject any hot-seat talk out of hand. Now they weigh whether this roster is built to make another deep playoff push. They also flag the exact games that will prove it this fall.
The Offense And Dante Moore
The offense returns as a top-tier Big Ten unit in 2026. Last season Oregon ranked 16th in total offense and 11th in scoring, so the bar is already high.
