Hall of Fame Game Picks Recap
Sean Green (@SeanTGreen) and Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric) are back with real NFL football, breaking down the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals in this preseason betting preview. They handicap the coaches, the quarterback battles, and the number before locking in their official best bets from Canton: the side, the total, and their favorite preseason props. Additionally they give away a Degen jacket and look ahead to the full NFL preview slate.

It is a sloppy exhibition nobody remembers by September, but it is real, it is on a board, and the guys have done well with their Hall of Fame Game picks over the years. Carolina opened a pick ’em and got bumped to a 1.5-point road favorite the moment Kenny Pickett was named the starter, with the total sitting at 35.5. Sean and Kramer landed on the same side of all of it.
Fading Dave Canales
The whole handicap runs through the coaches. Canales is 0-6 against the spread as a preseason head coach and 1-5 straight up, and a Carolina roster that has been banged up since the crew taped the Panthers preview is not about to push the pace with backups. Arizona counters with a first-year head coach off the McVay tree coaching his first real NFL game, and Sean likes the motivation edge that gives the Cardinals. The quarterback picture leans the same way. Pickett starts but will not stay in long, which hands the offense to rookie third-stringer Haynes King, who runs a lot more than he throws. Arizona has Carson Beck, who reportedly looked sharper once the pads came on, and Kedon Slovis behind him, the kind of efficient preseason arm you want in a spot like this. Kramer sees the edge at quarterback no matter how Arizona splits the reps.
The Hall Of Fame Game Picks Card
The lock is Arizona +1.5, and both guys play it close to a moneyline since these games so often end 21-20 or 17-16. The over 35.5 comes along for the ride. The number is lower than it used to be, but the over has cashed four of the last five Augusts, last year’s 34-7 track meet included, so the under is a tough sell. From there they get aggressive. The swing play combos Arizona -2.5 with the over 37.5 at +511, a price Kramer thinks is a mistake this early before the line settles. The prop of the day is Arizona to score a rushing touchdown at -110, a bargain next to a board full of juiced passing numbers, and both guys smash it. For the DFS crowd there is a boosted two-legger, Slovis over 43.5 passing yards with Haynes King under 92.5, that pays north of 4x.
