One Futures Bet A Day For NFL Countdown: DJ Moore Receiving Yards

DJ Moore higher than 950.5 Receiving Yards (Underdog Fantasy)

The Bears have a reloaded offense. It starts with their new rookie quarterback, Caleb Williams. They also added Rome Odunze in the draft and made a trade for Keenan Allen. DJ Moore, last year’s star addition, remains on the team and just signed a big payday. A lot of Bears’ stat totals have dropped because of all the mouths to feed.

Sharing The Targets

I get it. Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen will get theirs. However, Caleb Williams should be throwing the ball more than Justin Fields was, and all Bears fans hope he’ll be throwing it better. DJ Moore has never had a very accurate-armed quarterback throwing his way. Caleb Williams is an accurate-armed quarterback.

Since his rookie year, DJ Moore has only had one year under 1,000 yards. That was in 2022, when the Panthers organization was a complete mess. That year, offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo went through four quarterbacks, ranging from Baker Mayfield to PJ Walker. Moore led the team by double the number of targets and almost double the yardage.

Last year, with Justin Fields throwing the ball, Moore had a career-high 1,364 yards. I realize there was a lot less competition as far as targets go. However, I expect Moore to still be the top dog on this fast-paced Chicago Bears’ offense. Moore getting over 1,000 yards seems like a lock, especially seeing he and Williams have already built up chemistry.
