One Futures Bet A Day For NFL Countdown: Bears Packers Series Tie 1-1
Bears Packers Series tied at 1-1 (+110 on DraftKings)
Today’s NFL Futures bet hits close to the heart. Rather than look at a player or a division, we’re dwindling down to a matchup between two storied franchises. This bet can be found under “division specials” and then navigating to “reg season H2H”. The Bears vs. Packers rivalry is one that all fans know, and I am picking them to split the series this year. A Storied History
I know this rivalry has been one-sided lately. You don’t have to remind me. As a Bears fan who always thinks, “We’re going to get them this game,” only to be disappointed, I get it. You have doubts. However, the NFL is better when these two are competitive with each other. Regardless of how good either team is, it is usually a good game where anyone can win.
These games haven’t exactly been close as of late. The Packers have won ten straight. You have to venture back to 2018 to find the last Bears win. Chicago is hungry to win this game. In fact, sometimes I think they are so hungry that it psychs them up in the worst way.
It’s a new team, though. The defense was a top-10 in the back half of last season. The offense has two new dangerous weapons in Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze. Better yet, the offense has a guy that should be able to get them the ball. The most hyped player to hit Chicago since Michael Jordan, Caleb Williams, holds the key to all Bears fans’ hearts. Beat the Packers. That’s all you have to do.
As you see with my bet, I’m not greedy with it. I don’t expect the Bears to sweep the Packers by any means. However, I do expect them to be more competitive than they have been though. I also expect them to steal one of the games from the Packers and finally start turning the curse around. Caleb Williams, all eyes are on you.
