For the first time in just over a decade, the UFC is returning to one of its hottest markets back in the day, Montreal, Quebec. UFC 315 brings us two title fights on top, plus plenty of Canadian and French fighters spread throughout the card. For my MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: 315, we’re hitting up the night’s second fight. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC 315
UFC 315: Muhammad vs Della Maddalena
Start Time: 6:30 PM EST (ESPN/ESPN+)
The second pair of fighters to go through the curtain in Montreal’s Centre Bell on Saturday will be featherweights Jeong Yeong Lee and Daniel Santos. Depending on your book, either guy could be the underdog here, because the fight is basically a pick ’em (so I’m fudging the “underdog pick of the week” thing a bit). And my money is going on South Korea’s Lee.
Two big things are against Santos heading into this fight – he’s been out of action for almost two years, and he’s taking this fight on short notice. Plus, Lee is much bigger (three inches taller, six-inch reach advantage), and a better striker and grappler.
