Two more second-round NBA Playoffs games are on the schedule for tomorrow – the start of a Western Conference series, and the best team in the Eastern Conference trying to avoid going down 0-2 on their home court. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Tuesday, May 6th.
NBA Predictions & Preview For Tuesday, May 6th
Indiana Pacers vs Cleveland Cavaliers
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
The visiting Indiana Pacers smacked the Cleveland Cavaliers in the mouth in Game 1, winning by nine on the Cavs’ home court. Can they pull off the upset again and head back to Indianapolis with a chokehold on the series?
Cleveland really missed the injured Darius Garland on Sunday, and he’s listed as questionable to play tomorrow as well. More concerning, joining Garland on the questionable list are teammates Evan Mobley and De’Andre Hunter. Indiana will cover the spread.
Best Bet: Indiana +9.5 (-115)
Golden State Warriors vs Minnesota Timberwolves
Start Time – 9:30 PM EST
After almost blowing it, the Golden State Warriors showed up for Game 7 of their first-round series and completed the upset of the Houston Rockets. But there’s no rest for the weary, as they hit the floor in Minneapolis tomorrow to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.
While the Wolves are young, hungry, and rested, I think the spread for Game 1 is too wide. My line is Minnesota -4.5, so I’ll take a stab on the Warriors keeping it close for us.
Best Bet: Golden State +7.5 (-112)
Overall Record: 178-149 (54%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1,366.07
Return on Investment: 4%
