Well, my parlay winning streak lasted for exactly one day. But a new day brings a new opportunity to start another hot run. And the sport I supposedly know the most about is my play for tomorrow. A successful strategy of mine has been to parlay my UFC best bet along with my MMA Gambling Podcast cohost Gumby’s best bet to come up with a winning play. So that’s what we’re going to do for tomorrow.
Both of our plays come from the prelim portion of the card tomorrow, and we’ll start with Gumby’s. He’s going with Nikolay Veretennikov to beat the debuting (on less than a week’s notice) Austin Vanderford. Veretennikov should be the better and more dangerous striker since Vanderford is mostly just a wrestler. And Veretennikov can grapple himself if need be.
My play is Ibo Aslan to beat veteran Ion Cutelaba. Aslan is a knockout machine, with all 14 of his professional wins coming via T/KO. And Cutelaba has a lot of miles on that chin of his. Plus Cutelaba will be willing to stand and trade with him more than likely.
