Tre Donaldson Higher Than 1.5 Turnovers
Michigan State heads to Ann Arbor for a rivalry game with Michigan tonight. The Spartans come into this match up with a top-20 defense according to KenPom, and this is a great spot to fade Michigan guard Tre Donaldson.
Donaldson averages 2.3 turnovers per game, and he’s usually out there handling the ball for 30 minutes or more. He plays a bit loose with the ball, and Michigan State has a really solid backcourt that could force Donaldson to hand the ball over at least twice. Donaldson has gone higher than 1.5 turnovers in four of his last five match ups.
Michigan State just got done getting Purdue point guard Braden Smith to turn the ball over six times on February 18th. It’s unlikely that Donaldson will be that rough, this Michigan State backcourt is a tough match up, and they’ll get the better of him at least twice. Lock up Donaldson to go higher on his turnovers total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Eric Dixon Higher Than 7.5 Rebounds + Assists
Marquette pays a visit to Villanova tonight, and this is a great spot to ride with Eric Dixon to go higher on his rebounds and assists total.
The Golden Eagles allow opponents to average 35.3 rebounds per game this year. That’s 227th in the nation. They also allow opponents to dish out 14.7 assists per game. That’s 295th in the nation.
Dixon played Marquette on the road this year, and racked up 10 rebounds and assists. He also averages 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game at home this year. Dixon has also gone higher than 7.5 rebounds and assists in four straight games.
While Dixon is known for his three-point shooting and points totals, he can also fill up the other columns in the stat sheet. This is a case of the spot, the trend, the opponent and the history aligning. Let’s ride with Dixon to go higher than 7,5 RA in an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Chase Ross Higher Than 1.5 Assists
Marquette guard Chase Ross comes into this match up with Villanova with an odd number on his assists total. Ross averages 2.2 assists per game this year. However, he does rack up fewer assists outside of Milwaukee. The handicap here is that Villanova allows opponents to dish out a lot of assists, and Ross has been setting up teammates a bit more in recent games.
Villanova allows opponents to hand out 14.5 assists per game this year. That’s 240th in the nation. In an earlier match up against Villanova at Marquette, Ross handed out two assists.
When it comes to recent action, Ross dished out five assists against Seton Hall this past week. He’s also gone higher than 1.5 assists in five of his last seven games.
This wouldn’t normally show up on the card, but it’s a good number on a player with recent success. Let’s ride with the square number, and go higher on Ross’ assists total for the third leg of our Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
