Colby carried the case for the dog. He argued Syracuse is better than people think and called this a great spot to catch them, pointing to the way the Orange moved the ball on Cal in a game he thinks they should have won. He liked the money line as a live shot and the over on top of it. Sean granted that Pitt is the obvious side, with six straight wins on Thursday night and Narduzzi grading out as a better favorite than he expected, but he came back to the interceptions that buried Syracuse the last time these teams met. Get Angeli down to a couple of picks, Sean figured, and the Orange cover this number.
Ryan’s angle was about the price, not the team. His read is that you can never lay nine and a half, 10, or 10 and a half with Narduzzi, and his black book said don’t do it. He leaned on last week’s ugly Narduzzi outing as the tell, and the whole table talked themselves onto the same side.
