After hosting UFC 312 in Sydney, Australia this past weekend, the UFC octagon is back on its home turf this Saturday night, with UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs Rodrigues (aka UFC Vegas 102) going down in the cozy confines of the UFC Apex. For my MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Vegas 102, I’ve parlayed the card’s top two fights for a winning play!

MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Vegas 102
UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs Rodrigues (AKA UFC Vegas 102)
Main Card Start Time: 7:00 PM EST (ESPN+)
Since this is a UFC Apex fight card, we naturally get a middleweight main event. But, as is not often the case, this is actually a pretty good fight between top contenders Jared Cannonier and Gregory Rodrigues.
‘Robocop’ Rodrigues is the first half of my parlay. He’s a killer striker going up against a guy on the wrong side of 40 who has been knocked out fairly recently. Plus, Rodrigues has a very clear advantage on the ground.
The co-main event features another aging veteran, Calvin Kattar, matched up with an up-and-comer, Youssef Zalal. Already cut from the UFC once, Zalal is making the most of his second chance, winning all three of his fights since being re-signed, all via submission. Kattar has so much wear and tear on him and has only won once in five fights, so he’s a fade for me.
