MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC Baku
UFC Baku Lightweight Fight: Nazim Sadykhov vs Matheus Camilo
Start Time: 9:00am EST (Paramount+)
If you’re looking for a bit of extra value on the main card, the co-main event features a clash of styles that is perfect for a same-game parlay. While both fighters fancy themselves as strikers, one has a clear grappling advantage that should help a big number cash.
If you look at Matheus Camilo’s run in the UFC, he is all over the takedowns. He has hit at least two in every UFC fight he’s had and has averaged 3.5 per fight. Meanwhile, Nazim Sadykhov has allowed at least two takedowns in three of his seven fights. Although that’s under half of them, three of those that he came in under did not have an attempt. So that means in fights with at least two takedown attempts, he’s allowed two takedowns in four of five.
On the other side, we’ll trust the hands of Sadykhov. While I do expect him to get taken down, he has landed at least 40 significant strikes in four of his seven fights. Many of those have ended early with KOs, which is unlikely with a strong chinned Camilo. As long as this fight gets to over 1.5 rounds, this should be an easy cash.
