The Dallas Mavericks probably just delayed the inevitable with their blowout win in Game 4, but regardless we get at least one more game of NBA action this season to bet on. For my best bet for Monday (June 17th): NBA Predictions, I’m heading to Boston for what could be Dallas’s last stand.

Dallas Mavericks vs Boston Celtics

Start Time – 8:40 pm EST

If you’ve been reading these columns lately, you know what I’m going to say here – I don’t care who wins Game 5 tomorrow night in Boston’s TD Garden. I only care about the game total, as per usual.

And we keep being given gifts of totals for this series. All four games have gone under thus far, despite the total going from 217.5 in Game 1 to the 209.5 it’s set for in Game 5. But 209.5 is probably too low still, as the highest-scoring game thus far was Game 4’s 206 points. That was also the only game that Dallas has gotten into the 100s. Boston’s defense is too good for us not to take the under once again.
