The question put to Colby was whether this is the week Matt Campbell trips. His answer was a flat no. Wisconsin did get going late in the second quarter against Eastern Michigan, he allowed, but he doesn’t think they’ve looked great this year, and nobody argued. “They’re not good” came out twice in about two seconds.
The rest of his case was the building. Colby joked that this is basically Iowa State now, the Penn State Cyclones, and figures the momentum of that crowd forces Wisconsin’s quarterback into mistakes. In his view that’s the deciding factor.
