South Carolina vs Oklahoma Odds
Oklahoma was the 4.5-point home favorite over South Carolina, with a total of 44.5, when the guys taped on October 27.
Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): South Carolina +4.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): South Carolina +4.5
- Colby Dant (@thecolbyd): South Carolina +4.5
Ryan asked where Shane Beamer stands. Colby said he is walking that line, but that South Carolina is getting more than a field goal against an offense ranked 114th in the nation and 128th in rushing. He gave Oklahoma credit for the 11th-best defense in the country, and said a one-dimensional offense is exactly what South Carolina can handle.
Sean thought it feels like an ugly game and said the total of 44.5 is a bit high. He pointed to Oklahoma’s turnover differential of minus seven and said Sellers can do enough against a broken Oklahoma offense. He had it as something like 21-17 and said he would only be interested in Oklahoma at three or less.
Colby took the points for the same reasons. Oklahoma scored 14 points at home against New Mexico, he said, and the long trip is one of the farther ones in the SEC, but he does not see how anyone feels confident in that offense. He also noted Shane Beamer worked at Oklahoma before.
