Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Utah -6.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Cincinnati +6.5
- Colby Dant (@thecolbyd): Cincinnati +6.5
Colby’s case started with Cincinnati coach Satterfield. He said the fans want him fired and he keeps winning big games, and he called this a corporate matchup between two teams that barely know each other. Then he went after Utah’s schedule: an FCS opponent in week one, Arkansas, Utah State, Iowa State, Kansas and Colorado. In his view this is the best team Utah has faced on the road, and he thinks it did not look great against Houston at home. Give me the Bearcats, he said.
Sean agreed that Utah was lucky to get that cover against Houston, though he also said Houston is a good team. His official handicap: Cincinnati keeps winning and covering in spite of the fans wanting Satterfield fired. Ryan reminded the table that Utah did cover, and that it happened in Salt Lake City.
Ryan said he is ignoring the look-ahead spot and has Utah staying undefeated. He went against Utah last week, he said, and called that a mistake he will not repeat.
