The Arizona case came from Colby. He has been a fan of Arizona’s quarterback, and he said Arizona’s one loss is at BYU in week two, a game the Wildcats might have won without a pick-six. In his view BYU is better than Texas Tech, and its defense is better too. He called Texas Tech just not that good this season and said Arizona will win outright. He also has a soft spot for Brent Brennan, who he said was on the show when he coached San Jose State, and likes him as a dog.

Another host started out torn. Arizona’s quarterback has played well this year and the offense is moving the ball, which pushed him toward the points. His worry was Texas Tech’s bounce-back at home after the loss at Cincinnati, a game he wished he had played on the Cincinnati money line. But an offense like Arizona’s getting three and a half felt like a field goal game to him, so why not take it? A second voice said he likes teams that can score points and noted that both teams have look-aheads to Friday night games.
