Colby called it a Chip Kelly bowl with a lot going on. He listed the reasons it is a hard game: the travel mileage, and the show’s read that Oregon fired its offensive coordinator. He said he wants Northwestern to win so badly, but the mileage is the mileage, and asked for Oregon laying 3.5.

That did not hold. One of the guys said it is also tough to lay 3.5 with an Oregon team that has been a massive disappointment, and the physicality argument did the rest: Northwestern is a team that can run the ball down your throat, and Oregon has been seen to break under physicality.
