Our Picks

Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Clemson +6.5
Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Florida State -6.5
Colby Dant (@thecolbyd): Florida State -6.5

Ryan set it up by saying Clemson now sucks and the rankings need updating, which makes it funny that he ended up with Clemson. Sean said both teams look to be on the hot seat. Colby disagreed on Florida State, saying they are playing pretty well all things considered and that he thinks they got robbed in the Miami game. He also said a gigantic buyout does not make sense to him in the era of paying players.

Colby’s pick was Florida State. He thinks they just look better, called Clemson’s offense bad, and noted Clemson is going on the road. Florida State has a chip on its shoulder at 3-4, he said, and the players want a winning season for Norvell. He added that he does not feel amazing about it.

Sean did not want any part of either team, but said the spread suggests laying it. He pointed to Florida State coming off a bye and a game against Miami where they were very competitive, and joked that Norvell has a little something cooked up. Ryan could not do it. It is a big number to him, and with Dabo as a man of respect, he took Clemson and the points.
