Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Michigan State +13.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Michigan State +13.5
- Colby Dant (@TheColbyD): Michigan State +13.5
Colby started with the spot. He called it a great one for Sparty because Michigan has Oregon on deck. Then he went at the Michigan offense. By his count, Michigan scored 13 against Western Michigan, 17 against Oklahoma, 19 against Iowa, 14 against Minnesota, 21 against Penn State and 6 against Indiana. His question was how a team like that can lay 13.5.
He liked the dog and said the money line could be live. He called the Michigan State coach historically a great dog and noted this is that coach’s first game in the series, the same as Kyle Whittingham.
Michigan State was coming off a bye, which the guys saw as two weeks to prepare, while Michigan has the Oregon game on deck. They called 13.5 insane even at the Big House and wondered what the spread would be if this team were not Michigan. You cannot play 13.5 with Michigan, was the verdict. The guys also joked that if Colby keeps putting Michigan on the card, they will keep fading Michigan.
