Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): TCU +9.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Arizona -9.5
- Colby Dant (@TheColbyD): Arizona -9.5
The Arizona side came first. They liked the Wildcats coming home after a loss they called a heartbreaker. Arizona blew a lead in that one, and the guys wondered aloud whether a fourth-and-one conversion would have won it. Their read: Arizona played well last week and should handle business back home.
TCU was the other half of that argument. The guys called TCU a mess, said the team is ditching the air raid for a more physical rush game, and added that the change takes time. They floated that the head coach could be gone soon. They also pointed to TCU averaging 23.3 points per game, second lowest in the Big 12, and said Arizona’s offense would carve them up.
The dog side did not buy it. Who has lit up TCU’s defense? The answer on air was nobody. The close losses were the evidence: BYU 17 to 10, a defeat by eight in the bounce house and a four-point loss to West Virginia. It was one more dog for the pile, and the guys were already joking about a five-dog parlay.
