Sean Green thinks 41.5 is a hair high for this one and pictures a 21-17 kind of afternoon, which is exactly why he wants the points. The Colts visit the Vikings on Sunday, October 25 at 1:00 PM ET in Minneapolis, MN, and Minnesota was a 6.5-point favorite with a total of 41.5 when the guys taped on October 21. Both hosts took the Colts +6.5 on the NFL Picks Week 7 episode.

Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Colts +6.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Colts +6.5
Sean’s problem is the Minnesota offense. The Vikings have won, but he called them a team with serious flaws that is so bad on one side of the ball he can’t lay six and a half with it. Ryan backed that up with a number: the show has this as the largest spread for a bottom-five EPA per play team in the past five years. Sean also likes Daniel Jones in this exact range, noting he is 17-8 against the spread as a road underdog of more than four points. He admitted it’s scary picturing the Minnesota defense blitzing Jones all day, and that ugly dogs like this one are the ones that come home.
Ryan leaned on the front office. The Colts fired their GM in season, and the guys cited Walter Football’s stat that the last 12 teams to do that went 8-4 ATS the next game. Ryan’s read is that the move tells everyone on the roster their job is on the line, which makes this the ultimate desperation spot after a home loss to Tennessee. He also expects a big game from Jonathan Taylor.
It takes some faith, Ryan said, and the Colts come in banged up. After a detour into a Call of Duty release date, they settled it: both on the Colts plus six and a half.
