Both guys landed on the Browns -2, and neither one felt great about it. Cleveland visits Nashville, TN on Sunday, October 25 at 1:00 PM ET, and the Browns were 2-point favorites over the Titans when the guys taped on October 21. The whole argument is on the NFL Picks Week 7 episode.
Browns vs Titans Odds
The Cleveland Browns were 2-point road favorites over the Tennessee Titans with a total of 37 when the guys taped on October 21.
Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Browns -2
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Browns -2
Sean leaned on a trend the guys cited on air: Tennessee is 0 and 12 against the spread off a win. His view is that you fade bad teams coming off a win, especially one where everything broke right, and he didn’t come away from the Titans’ win over the Colts any more optimistic about them. Cam Ward came up short on that day too, with Sean putting him around 100 passing yards.
The reasons to worry were easy to find. Ryan noted the Browns are a road team in a sandwich spot with Pittsburgh up next, and Sean expects the public to be on Cleveland, which makes a road favorite even scarier. Sean’s counter is the Browns defense, which he said ranks 12th overall with the 11th best pressure rate, against a Titans offense that has been the real problem.
Sean said he’d lay the -130 on the money line because a 17-16 Browns win is very much in play, and he couldn’t build a case for the over at 37. Ryan’s instincts told him Tennessee, but the Titans are on his do not bet list. As he put it, he’s more comfortable backing Deshaun Watson than watching Cam Ward lose him a bet.
