New York Yankees vs Minnesota Twins

Start Time – 1:10 pm EST

The game that’s going to snap my little losing skid is the New York Yankees visiting the Minnesota Twins. This is getaway day for both teams, as they wrap up their three-game series, so it’s an early afternoon start time.

And I’m taking the under 8.5 runs for this game. Both games in the series have gone under (5-1 Twins; 4-0 Yankees), and we have a couple of solid hurlers on the bump Thursday afternoon. That would be Clarke Schmidt and his 2.95 ERA for the visitors, and Minnesota’s Joe Ryan, who has a 3.21 ERA this season. These pitchers have combined for one earned run over their last 13.2 innings pitched.
