Iowa Hawkeyes vs South Carolina Gamecocks

Start Time – 3:00 pm EST

I never thought I’d see the day that there was more interest and buzz over the women’s NCAA basketball tournament than the men’s, but that is the power of Caitlin Clark. But am I really going to dare to bet against this unstoppable force for Sunday’s best bet?! Yes, I am.

As good as Clark is – and she is really, really good, I think the three-point total set for her Sunday’s championship game is too high. Not only is she going up against the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks – who are favored by 6.5 points – but she hasn’t been shooting the three ball very well throughout Iowa’s run in this tournament.

Clark is averaging 4.6 long-bombs made per game, hitting them at a 34.5% clip. She’s only topped this 5.5 three-pointer mark once in the five games of this year’s tournament. I’ll play with fire and bet against her tomorrow.
