Two teams headed in different directions meet up in Crypto.com Arena tomorrow, as the inconsistent Cleveland Cavaliers meet up with the surging Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers have been winning, but they only beat the lowly Washington Wizards by five points in their last game, so I’m staying away from playing the spread for this game. However, I do have my eyes on the total. The total of 227.5 for this game is too low in those aforementioned eyes of mine. I project this game to get into the mid-230s.

Philadephia 76ers vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Tipoff – 8:00 pm EST
Spread: 76ers -12
Total: 208.5
Since Joel Embiid has made his remarkable return to the court, the Philadelphia 76ers are once again steamrolling opponents. Well, winning, at the very least. But, improbably, the Memphis Grizzlies have won two straight games themselves, including beating the Milwaukee Bucks by 10 points. So I’m not touching a 12-point spread in this game.
No, instead the total is the play that I’m making again. Especially with the big man back, 208.5 points is too low of a total. I’m seeing 219 points as a very specific total for this game, so the over is the move.
Best Bet: 76ers/Grizzlies Over 208.5 (-111)
