Back to the UFC Apex we go one last time in February for another Saturday night Fight Night card. This week we get a light heavyweight clash at the top of the card, with an underdog in it that I’m getting behind and adding to my UFC Vegas 70 DraftKings lineup. He, along with five other fighters, make up my winning roster for this week. Tag along! Go here for the latest Jones vs Gane odds.

UFC Vegas 70 DraftKings Picks, Fantasy UFC
Tatiana Suarez – $9,600
Yep, I’m spending $9,600 on a fighter who has been out of action for almost four years. But Tatiana Suarez is not your run-of-the-mill fighter. A world-class wrestler and grappler, she’s 8-0 in MMA and has averaged 119.3 fantasy points over five UFC appearances, including a whopping 157 against former two-time UFC champion Carla Esparza. And she’s getting a favorable matchup in fellow grappler Montana De La Rosa for her return on Saturday.
One of the greatest wrestlers in MMA history, undefeated Tatiana Suarez returns this Saturday at #UFCVegas70.

Mike Malott – $9,200
Next, I head to an all-Canadian matchup of welterweights and fall on the side of the favorite, Mike Malott. This man is a finishing machine, with four knockouts and four submissions making up his eight professional MMA wins. This includes his UFC debut, in which he TKO’d Mickey Gall and earned 111.6 fantasy points. He’ll have a very distinct grappling advantage over this week’s foe, Yohan Lainesse, while also being able to more than hold his own on the feet.
Hailey Cowan – $8,600
Newcomer Hailey Cowan is my next addition to the lineup. Earning her contract via the last season of Dana White’s Contender Series, she is a strong wrestler also capable of some stunning knockout power. She’s up against Ailin Perez in her UFC debut this week. Perez, despite talking a big game, looked totally out of her element in her UFC debut, and her resume is quite suspect. I expect Cowan to get her hand raised this weekend.
Don’Tale Mayes – $7,900
Time for three value pickups. First up, I’ll happily snatch up heavyweight Don’Tale Mayes for only $7,900. He’s going against Augusto Sakai this week, a man who has been knocked out in four straight fights. And with five knockouts in nine pro wins, Mayes has some finishing power himself. This includes a 124-point outing against Josh Parisian a couple of fights ago.

Ryan Spann – $7,500
Now time for that aforementioned main event underdog, Ryan Spann. He’s coming off of back-to-back fantastic outings – a submission finish and a knockout – that got him 92 and 103 fantasy points, respectively. He averages a solid 73.4 fantasy points over his nine-fight UFC career (he’s 7-2 in the big show). He’s going to have the size and power advantage over Nikita Krylov and has sneaky submission skills if Krylov gets sloppy.
Ode’ Osbourne – $7,200
Finally, I’ll pick up Ode’ Osbourne on the cheap for his 130-pound catchweight fight against Charles Johnson. ‘The Jamaican Sensation’ is capable of some big outings, topping 100 points in two of his six UFC fights. He’s also prone to stinkers, posting two six-point fights and a seven. Hey, you get what you pay for. I like him getting solid points this week against Johnson, who is stepping in here on short notice.
