Monday Night Football Prop Bets: Redskins vs Eagles

Happy Monday y’all. If your Sunday went like mine it probably doesn’t feel so happy right now. Not to worry, the cure to losing is generally winning. Winning on the field, in life and most importantly betting props on Monday night. I will attempt to cover the third part but for winning on the field and in life I have to throw some love at Carson Wentz. At first I was sure I would use this paragraph to shit on the man who pulls Sean’s heart strings. Instead I watched this piece and it gave me the courage to give Carson Wentz a pass on his tremendously offensive Facebook posts and anoint him a HOFer both in the game of football and life.

Monday Night Football Prop Bets – Five Ways to Get Paid

1. Zach Ertz Over 65.5 receiving yards (-110) & 2. Over 5.5 receptions (-110)

The Redskins have been flat out bad defending the tight end this year giving up an average of 7.9 catches for 84.9 yards. Sprinkle in the amazing season that Ertz is having, averaging for 5.8 for 67.5, and the fact that he was MIA 10 days ago against Carolina where he only put up 18 yards on 2 catches., and you have a juicy spot. Look for Ertz to be targeted early and often as it wouldn’t surprise me these props are cashed by halftime.

3. Carson Wentz Over 1.5 passing tds (-145)

Dont over think this one, Wentz has passing 13 TDs on the year(7 over the last 2) and the Redskins will be with out Norman and most likely with out Breeland. Wentz finds the end zone at least twice and we cash this ticket with out too much thought.

4. Jordan Reed scores a TD (+275)

Another week removed from his injury riddled summer its hard to believe the Redskins have only targeted him twice in the redzone to date. This is just a market correction play, He is healthy and this has the makings of a get right game for Reed. Cousins has found Reed in the end zone 17 times in the last 32 games, applying basic math suggests this price should be around -130. This is an unavoidable play for me at this price.

5. Total Sacks over 4.5 (-115)

Throw the stats out here, its a divisional matchup that should feature 75+pass plays. Both teams have underperformed of late getting after the QB. Just like in week one where they combined for 6 sacks, I expect this one to climb over the total of 4.5.

Good luck and Let it Ride!!!
