You couldn’t score one more measly point last night, New York Knicks?! Losing a bet by half a point sucks. Here are your NBA Playoffs predictions and preview for Friday, May 8th.
NBA Playoffs Predictions & Preview For Friday, May 8th
New York Knicks vs Philadelphia 76ers
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
The NBA Playoffs are now starting to resemble the regular season, with key players questionable for games. Tomorrow, that would be Joel Embiid for the Sixers, and Josh Hart and OG Anunoby for the Knicks.
Despite the change in venues – we’re in Philly tomorrow for Game 3 – and the possible missing players on the court, my pick for this game remains the same. Yes, despite them screwing me yesterday. My line is New York -3, so the Knicks as a road dog is my play.
Best Bet: New York +1.5 (-107)
San Antonio Spurs vs Minnesota Timberwolves
Start Time – 9:30 PM EST
Minnesota Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards is also questionable for tomorrow’s action, but it’s still the same lingering injury, so my guess would be that he’s going to play. If not, even better for my bet. Even so, he’ll probably still be on a minutes restriction.
Which is good news for me as well. My line for tomorrow (assuming everyone is playing at 100%) would be San Antonio -1, but AE is definitely not 100%, so I’ll take the visitors on the spread.
Best Bet: San Antonio -4 (-110)
2025/6 Overall Record: 203-163 (55%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $2,000.77
Return on Investment: 5%
