Stephon Castle had a big day on Wednesday, which is what we expected. What we didn’t expect is that he would do it without making a single shot from beyond the arc. Daily NBA Player Props – May 7th
James Harden – Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-108)
If you’re looking to get down with James Harden in this playoff series, the PRA is the way to go. He has been a touch inconsistent with just about every stat category, but he’s going to show up with something. He averaged over 20.0 points in the last series and started with 22 in the first one of this series. If he can maintain that for Thursday, we’ll need just ten with the dimes and boards. He’s hit that number in four of his last five and should do so again here.
Ausar Thompson – Over 7.5 Rebounds (+114)
The rebounding of Thompson has been a gold mine in these playoffs. While he didn’t grab many in the blowout Game 7 win over the Magic, he’s had at least eight in six of his last seven games. He showed that the bigs of the Cavaliers aren’t going to keep him out of the paint and grabbing boards. Look for him to produce for us yet again in that category.
Rui Hachimura – Over 12.5 Points (-104)
Okay, so maybe Hachimura is not the sexiest guy to get after with the points props. However, the Lakers showed that they are going to stick with their starting five for the bulk of playoff games this year. Not only that, with no Luka Doncic, the scoring need is apparent. Hachimura has already hit the over on this number in all but one game in these playoffs. He’s averaging 16.1 points per game so far and 13 seems like it shouldn’t be all that hard.
