Those damn Memphis Grizzlies snapped my heater by not covering against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. Seven straight wins is now my new record. Time to try to break it starting tomorrow. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Monday, March 10th.

Orlando Magic vs Houston Rockets

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The Houston Rockets will be without star defender Amen Thompson for a couple of weeks due to a sprained ankle, but they’ve been a top team all season despite having to shuttle players in and out of their lineup. And they’re a potent team at home.

The Orlando Magic have learned the value of Jalen Suggs, as they’ve struggled with him out of the lineup (he’s out of the season now). They are also not a good road team. My line is Houston -9.5, so the Rockets are getting my money.

Best Bet: Houston -4.5 (-110)

Phoenix Suns vs Memphis Grizzlies

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

Despite cursing them just a minute ago, here I am once again going with the Memphis Grizzlies to cover a spread for me. I obviously haven’t learned my lesson. But the books haven’t learned their lesson that the Phoenix Suns suck.

Memphis will be without their best player tomorrow, Jaren Jackson Jr, which gave me a bit of pause before making this play. But the line I’ve calculated is Memphis -11, so that’s plenty of wiggle room even without Triple J.
