Noah Williamson Higher Than 18.5 Points

Navy draws Bucknell in a Patriot League conference tournament semifinal game today. Let’s ride with Bucknell big man Noah Williamson to fill it up against the Midshipmen.

Williamson comes into this game averaging 17.4 points per game this season. He’s gone higher than 18.5 points in five of his last seven games played. Williamson faced Navy twice this year and scored 29 points and 25 points.

Navy allows opponents to shoot 52.2% on two-point shots. That’s 235th in the nation. The Midshipmen have only one player taller than 6’9″, and that’s Adian Kehoe who is a 6’10”. Williamson is a legit seven-footer, and has enough skill in the post to consistently get near the hoop. Unless Williamson gets in foul trouble or Bucknell blows the doors off of Navy, he’s going higher than 18.5 points in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Kelton Talford Higher Than 1.5 Turnovers

Winthrop gets High Point in the Big South conference tournament final today. This is Winthrop’s third game in three days. There are going to be some tired legs on the Winthrop side of the ball. Big man Kelton Talford will likely be among them, and he’s going to hand the ball back to High Point at least twice in this match up.

Talford has faced High Point twice, and had two turnovers in each game. He also averages 1.9 turnovers per game this year. Saturday’s match up with UNC-Asheville was the first time Talford went lower than 1.5 turnovers in a game since a game against Gardner-Webb on February 1st.

Winthrop has gone through the ringer in the last two days, and this is a tough match up to face on the third day of a back-to-back-to-back. Talford has struggled with turnovers in both previous games against High Point. He should end up going higher than 1.5 for your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry today.

Elijah Stephens Higher Than 3.5 Assists

American University faces Colgate in the other Patriot League conference tournament semifinal game today. Colgate enters this game allowing opponents to dish out 14.5 assists per game this year. That’s 279th in the nation. American point guard Elijah Stephens’ assists projection is the play here.

Stephens comes into this match up averaging 3.7 assists per game this year. He’s faced the Colgate Raiders twice this year. Stephens racked up five and four assists in those two games. He’s also gone higher than 3.5 assists in four of his last six games.

Colgate has struggled at times this year, and they allow opponents to pass their way into scoring opportunities. Stephens has shown success against the Raiders, and should be one of the safer projections to take in an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 9th.
