Colby started with what the game means in the ACC. He laid out how many of the teams near the top still play each other, with SMU facing Wake Forest and Virginia Tech facing both SMU and Miami. He said part of him wanted to jump on SMU after a Syracuse cash, but he does not think this SMU team is that good. His read is that Virginia Tech gets better with every game, and he called the Hokies live to win the game.
Sean agreed, with a caveat. He likes trolling with Virginia Tech, but he gave SMU credit for being in a bounce-back spot at home on a short week. Virginia Tech comes off a bye, though, and he noted the Hokies lead the nation with 77 tackles for loss. SMU, by his count, has 11 giveaways, and he said they turn it over in big spots.
