NORTHERN ILLINOIS HUSKIES VS MIAMI (OH) REDHAWKS
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The Miami (OH) RedHawks would be the aforementioned best – and hottest – team in the MAC. Currently tied for the top spot in the conference with a 5-1 record, the RedHawks have won five straight games after dropping their MAC opener. And they aren’t just beating conference foes – they are spanking them, with their average margin of victory over the past five games standing at 21 points. The closest a team has gotten to them during this stretch is six points.
So I’m comfortable taking the RedHawks as a tiny favorite at home tomorrow against the visiting Northern Illinois Huskies. The Huskies are a strong team and good on the road, so the close line is fitting. But the RedHawks are on too much of a roll to go against in this spot, and they’ve won four straight games in Yager Stadium. Let’s make it five straight tomorrow night.
