The Boston Celtics continue their march through the NBA playoffs, stomping the Cleveland Cavaliers by 25 points in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals. For my best bet for Thursday (May 9th): NBA Predictions, I have a player prop from Game 2 of this series.

Best Bet For Thursday (May 9th): NBA Predictions

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics

Start Time – 7:05 pm EST

As mentioned, save for the Miami Heat overperforming in one game, the Boston Celtics have been untouchable these playoffs. But the interesting part of this is that their top player, Jayson Tatum, has not been their top player during this playoff run. It just hasn’t been a publicized issue because the team is rolling

Tatum is third on the team in scoring in the playoffs (21.2 ppg) and is only shooting 41% from the floor and 25% from deep. I’m going to ride this trend and bet that Tatum hits under 2.5 threes in Game 2. He was 0-5 from deep in the first game of the series, and has yet to hit three or more threes in a playoff game this season (and seven straight games if you go back to the regular season). I’m not sure why this prop is set this high, but I’ll gladly take advantage of it for plus money.
