Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – May 8

Tyrese Haliburton – Lower than 16.5 Points

I’ll keep hammering the lower on Tyrese Haliburton’s points until it burns me. It hasn’t yet. He was set for 17.5 for Game 1 against the New York Knicks and he ended up scoring six while only taking six shots.

Now his points are set for 16.5 for Game 2, and I’m taking the lower, once again. He’s scored 17 once in the past three games, and three times total in eight playoff games this season. His scoring average for the playoffs is also below 16.5 – it currently sits at 14.6 ppg.

Jalen Brunson – Higher than 37.5 Points

And, once again, I’m riding the higher on Jalen Brunson’s points until the wheels fall off. This is another play that rarely fails you in these playoffs.

The New York star has famously scored 40 or more points in four straight games for the Knicks. And he’s topped this 37.5-point projection in five straight playoff games. Let’s go for six tomorrow night in Madison Square Garden.

Pascal Siakam – Lower than 27.5 Points + Rebounds

Like teammate Haliburton, Pascal Siakam hasn’t been elevating his game these playoffs, save for the first two games of Indiana’s first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Those two games are the only two these playoffs where Siakam has topped the 27.5 points plus rebounds line he’s set at for tomorrow’s Game 2. He’s gone under it five straight games.
