The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 26
Gustav Nyquist Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Nashville Predators won Game 2 and are right back in their series against the Vancouver Canucks. On Friday night, they’ll get to skate on home ice in front of their fans and with much-o momentum.
34-year-old Swedish centerman Gustav Nyquist had a 75-point regular season. But he’s also made a significant impact in the post-season, logging points in both Game 1 and Game 2. Dating back to April 9, Nyquist is now working on a five-game point streak, and at home, he’s primed for six straight.
On Friday, we’ll take one Swedish-made point because that’s our bag, baby! Go ahead and press Gustav Nyquist Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Vancouver Canucks.
Kyle Connor Higher Than 0.5 Points
This series between the Winnipeg Jets and the Colorado Avalanche has been must see TV. It’s all knotted up at one game apiece and on Friday night they head back to Colorado. Jets winger Kyle Connor had an amazing regular season, putting up 61 points in 65 games. Now, in two post-season games Connor has two goals and two assists.
Looking back into the regular season, Connor is coming into tonight with a 10-game point streak. To put it simply, Kyle Connor is hotter than the surface temperature of Venus at the moment. So, let’s take Kyle Connor Higher Than 0.5 Points in Game 3 against the Colorado Avalanche.
Viktor Arvidsson Higher Than 0.5 Points
The LA Kings got a much-needed victory in Game 2 against the Edmonton Oilers. On Friday, they get back in front of their home crowd and will look to keep things rolling. Swedish winger Viktor Arvidsson played an abbreviated regular season but still scored 15 points across 15 games.
He has also logged a point in each of the Kings’ first two playoff games against the Oilers. If the Kings are going to win this series, Arvidsson will need to remain hot. Edmonton’s vulnerability in goal throughout this year also bodes well for Viktor.
So, let’s press the Higher Than 0.5 Points for Viktor Arvidsson and cash a second straight banger!
