Well, degens. Tuesday night the NHL Underdog Gods showed a little favor upon our entries as we went two for three. That means our Insured option tailers scooped up 0.68x profits last night. More importantly, our Insured option tailers are up over 1.19x in the playoffs already. On Wednesday night, the NHL playoffs are back again and offer up a sweet little three-game slate. Brad Marchand Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Boston Bruins look like they are going to be in for a tough series against the Toronto Maple Leafs. So, if tough is the word, then our first NHL Underdog entry on Wednesday night will have toughness in spades. Everyone’s favorite tough guy, Brad Marchand, is off to a flying start in the series, with three assists in two games.
He also had some fabulous regular season performances against the Toronto Maple Leafs, tallying a goal and four assists in four games against. Just like that bully from high school, it’s a tough guy Brad kind of spot tonight. We’re taking Brad Marchand Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Maple Leafs in Game 3.
Jack Eichel Higher Than 0.5 Points
This second NHL Underdog entry will require me to put personal feelings aside and go strictly on performance. As loyal readers and tailers will recall, I preface this entry as a struggling and scorned Sabres fan. That being said, Eichel performed admirably this season tallying 68 points in 63 games played.
It also took him only a little over a minute to open his playoff point account in Game 1. Jack ended Game 1 with two helpers and over 20 minutes of ice time.
VGK could have Dallas on the ropes tonight with another win, and if that’s going to happen, then Eichel will be involved. Sabres-scorned-fan reluctance aside, let’s nab Jack Eichel at Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Dallas Stars.
Evan Bouchard Higher Than 0.5 Points
The nightcap in tonight’s NHL Playoffs games features the LA Kings and the Edmonton Oilers. No NHL Underdog trifecta would be complete without the usage of Edmonton Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard.
The 24-year-old had 18 goals and 64 assists this year, with five of those points coming against LA. Oh, by the way? Bouchard only dropped a four-point night in Game 1 against LA just two nights ago.
We’re hopping back aboard the defenseman like he’s American Pharoah. Go ahead and smash Evan Bouchard Higher Than 0.5 Points against the LA Kings, and let’s cash this banger!
