The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 20
Brock Nelson Higher Than 0.5 Points
The New York Islanders are back into the playoffs. And they are undoubtedly going to need a big series from Brock Nelson if they want to advance past Carolina. Luckily for the Isles, Nelson is coming into the playoffs in good form. He is riding a five-game point streak and has a good track record against these Carolina Hurricanes.
So let’s go Full Nelson with our first playoff NHL Underdog entry. We’re taking Brock Nelson to go Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Mitchell Marner Higher Than 0.5 Assists
The Toronto Maple Leafs had high expectations at the beginning of this season. They have now gotten themselves into the playoffs and begin a series against the Boston Bruins tonight. While hockey fans watched to see if Auston Matthews could score goal number 70, Mitchell Marner was busy tallying points.
In fact, Marner tallied at least one point across eight of his final nine regular season games. Oh, by the way? During the regular season, Marner torched the Bruins for two goals and one assist in four games against them.
We’re looking for a Marner helper in Game One tonight, and he looks primed to pitch in. So let’s grab Mitchell Marner Higher Than 0.5 Assists against the Boston Bruins.
Pavel Zacha Higher Than 0.5 Points
It’s a well-known fact that nobody likes the Boston Bruins. Unfortunately, they just find a way to be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference year after year. 27-year-old center Pavel Zacha put together a 59-point regular season this year. He also found a way to tally at least one point in eight of his last ten games.
In short, Zacha found so many ways to contribute to the Bruins overall success. Now he gets a series of opportunities against a Maple Leafs team that he recorded four points in three games against in the regular season. We’re playing the percentages with this entry and taking Pavel Zacha Higher Than 0.5 Points to cash this playoff banger!
