New Orleans Pelicans vs Oklahoma City Thunder

After stumbling out of the gate to start April (three straight losses), the Oklahoma City Thunder won five straight games to close out the regular season and clinch the #1 spot in the Western Conference standings. This ensures them a home-court advantage in every playoff series as long as the opponent isn’t the Boston Celtics.

This is important not just because OKC is a young, unproven team, but because they were deadly at home this season, going 33-8, second-best in the league behind Boston. They should take advantage of the friendly environs – and a New Orleans Pelicans team minus Zion Williamson – to cover the 8.5 points for us Sunday night in Game 1.
