The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 11

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 11

Well, degens. The NHL Underdog Gods have decided our insane heater has come to an end. On Wednesday night, we went just one for three, and our coffers remain bare this week. But, as Tom Hanks said in that movie one time, “There’s no crying in baseball!” So, we shift our focus onto Thursday as it provides a jam-packed 10-game NHL slate. Maybe we should all grab a bottle of Mike’s Magic Stuff. Or, maybe we all just need to pour a bourbon. Either way, the bangers are there to be had. Now, we just need to pick the lock and collect our loot. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for April 11.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for April 11

Brandon Hagel Higher Than 0.5 Points

The Tampa Bay Lightning have clinched a seat at the table of the Eastern Conference playoffs. On Thursday night, they skate on home ice against the Ottawa Senators, and we’re keying in on Brandon Hagel. The 25-year-old winger has 72 points this season, and he has nine points in his last 10 games.

Hagel also tallied a point against these same lowly Senators in their last meeting. Finally, Hagel has crushed the Eastern Conference teams located in Canada this year, so tonight, we give him the nod. Our first NHL Underdog entry is Brandon Hagel Higher Than 0.5 Points against the garbage can Senators.

Joe Pavelski Higher Than 0.5 Points

The Dallas Stars are a force in the Western Conference and one of my leans to emerge into the Finals. Tonight, they will be on home ice and take on the Winnipeg Jets, who have been no slouch this season. Veteran center Joe Pavelski has aged like a bottle of Merlot, sitting on 66 points this season.

He also comes into Thursday night on a three-game point streak and has tallied points in nine of his last 11. We’re in the business end of the season and the 39 year old knows how to “TCB”. So let’s press the Higher Than 0.5 Points for Joe Pavelski against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.

Anze Kopitar Higher Than 0.5 Points

With the Masters starting today, it’s only fitting we use a guy like Anze Kopitar as our third NHL Underdog entry. Kopitar is the “Master of his domain” out in LA, and tonight, he’ll skate at home against the Calgary Flames. He sits on 68 points this season and has tallied three in his last six games.

What I really like about Kopitar in this spot is the historical stranglehold he has on these Flames. In three games against just this season, Anze has tallied one goal and three assists. Thursday night, we’re locking him in to go Higher Than 0.5 Points and cashing a damn banger!

Best Ways to Build Your Thursday Card

-Play these three players together using the “Standard” option on Underdog for a 3.9x winner

-Play all three players together using the “Insured” option on Underdog for a chance at a 1.95x winner for all three or a 0.65x winner for getting two out of three.
