Philadelphia 76ers vs Milwaukee Bucks

I’ve been hammering home the point that scoring is down in the NBA over the last month, but I’m going to hammer home the point once more with Thursday’s best bet. The books have the Philadelphia 76ers vs the Milwaukee Bucks total set way too high.

How much is “way too high”, you ask? Way too high. For the season as a whole, a game between the Sixers and the Bucks you’d expect to end in the 228-238 range, so the books have adjusted to the downtick in scoring a bit. But I don’t think they’ve adjusted enough for this game. Philadelphia has only scored 94 points per game over their last five; Milwaukee 109 over their last four. When you add up those numbers you get to a total of 203 points, which is way below 224.5
