The LA Kings have been an absolute force in the month of December, having won seven out of 11 games. Winger Adrian Kempe has also put together a respectable 11 goals and 19 assists in 2023.
Thursday night, he and the Kings skate into Vegas looking for win number eight this month. Kempe has tallied seven assists in 11 games this month and has three points in his last two games.

Don’t everyone look all at once, but the Vancouver Canucks are currently in a Presidents Trophy race. Helping to lead the Canucks charge is 24-year-old American defenseman Quinn Hughes. With 10 goals and an absolutely insane 34 assists, the Orlando kid is hotter than beach sand in July.
Heading into Thursday night against the Flyers, Hughes has four assists in his last three games. And, nearly half of his season total assists come on the power play, of which he should see opportunities tonight. One guy who’s on a mission to succeed is veteran centerman Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. He skates into Thursday’s matchup against the Sharks with 10 assists in the month of December.
