Defenseman Morgan Rielly has managed to score three goals and tally 15 assists across 24 games played in 2023.
Coming into Monday’s meeting with the New York Islanders, Rielly sports a two-game point streak. Unintentionally, there are a few similarities between our first and second NHL Underdog entries on Monday night. Nazem Kadri was a long-time member of the Toronto Maple Leafs team. And although the “Moose” has been dormant of late, his 12 goals and 19 assists provide the pedigree we seek.
