The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for December 11
Morgan Rielly Higher Than 0.5 Points
It really pains me to have to utilize a Toronto Maple Leafs player in an NHL Underdog entry. But, with a four-game slate, the Maple Leaf hate-colored glasses need to be removed in order to win. Defenseman Morgan Rielly has managed to score three goals and tally 15 assists across 24 games played in 2023.
Coming into Monday’s meeting with the New York Islanders, Rielly sports a two-game point streak. With the Islanders giving up over three goals against in December, Rielly should have great looks at a point tonight. So come on and do us a solid, Mr. Rielly. Let’s take Morgan Rielly Higher Than 0.5 Points on Monday against the Islanders.
Nazem Kadri Higher Than 0.5 Points
Unintentionally, there are a few similarities between our first and second NHL Underdog entries on Monday night. Nazem Kadri was a long-time member of the Toronto Maple Leafs team. And he also sits on 18 points in 2023, the same as Morgan Rielly above. So perhaps the gambling gods are trying to connect our dots for a banger? Either way, Kadri comes into Monday’s game against Colorado on a three-game point streak.
He’ll also be facing a former team and logged two points across three games against them last season. We’re slamming a shot of your preferred liquor with this second NHL Underdog entry. Go ahead and press Higher Than 0.5 Points for Nazem Kadri on Monday night in Colorado.
Mikko Rantanen Higher Than 0.5 Assists
Ah, the smell of a familiar NHL Underdog entry who can be trusted to do what we need them to do. Mikko Rantanen has been sort of an “old reliable” within these lines of our Quick Pick articles. And although the “Moose” has been dormant of late, his 12 goals and 19 assists provide the pedigree we seek.
Rantanen is a staple on the Avs potent power play, and he’s tallied four assists in his last six against the Flames. Monday night, the Moose awakens from his recent slumber and finds us our apple. Let’s press the Higher Than 0.5 Assists button on Mikko Rantanen and cash this banger!
