In case you missed it, Thursday night’s Underdog picks went a blistering three out of four. Our only swing and miss was on the game’s biggest superstar, Connor McDavid. Go figure. Looking ahead, the six-game slate scheduled for Friday night should be beautiful music to an NHL degens ears. With our season success rate back up to 60%, let’s get back in the kitchen and cook up a banger. Here are my four best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for November 10.
The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for November 10
Ryan Hartman Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Minnesota Wild head to Buffalo on Friday night, and yours truly will actually be in attendance for this one. Both teams come into this matchup looking for any sort of consistency. Ryan Hartman hasn’t necessarily been lighting the ice ablaze, but he has been a stalwart for the Wild.
Hartman has already tallied 11 points in 13 games this year, with over half coming against Eastern Conference opponents. The Wild winger also has four points in four games against Buffalo in the last two seasons. Let’s kick the tires and light the fires with our first Underdog entry and take Ryan Hartman Higher Than 0.5 Points.
Seth Jarvis Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Carolina Hurricanes have strung together a couple of wins in a row and now head to Florida with confidence. During these two games, Seth Jarvis has been as dormant as a bear hibernating in their den. While that isn’t necessarily a good thing, seven of Jarvis’s ten points have come on the road in 2023. Additionally, the Carolina center has tallied 5 points in 6 games across the last two seasons against the Panthers. Tonight, the dormant Seth Jarvis awakens to break free from that den and goes Higher Than 0.5 Points.
Scott Laughton Higher Than 0.5 Points (1.25X Odds)
Our third Underdog pick on Friday night is Philadelphia Flyers center Scott Laughton. And if you listen closely enough, you might just hear a collective gasp for air coming from our loyal readers. Do I want to depend on a member of the Flyers to cash a ticket? Certainly not.
But, sometimes, your gut feeling is also supported by the historical splits. Laughton has registered a solid five points in four games against the Ducks over the last two seasons. He also found his way onto the box score with a point against the Ducks just two weeks ago. So forget what you think you know. Let’s get crazy and take the Higher Than 0.5 Points for Scott Laughton.
Frank Vatrano Higher Than 0.5 Points
Each time I consider Frank Vatrano as an Underdog pick, I can’t help but think of Adele’s lyrics to “Hello.” That’s probably because I have called upon Vatrano a thousand times to get us in the barn here in 2023. Friday night, Vatrano will look to get himself and his Ducks back in a row with a win against Philly.
Six of Vatrano’s 12 points have come at home, and he netted a Hat Trick against the Flyers two weeks ago. Let’s make the call one more time and anchor Friday night’s Underdog entry with Frank Vatrano Higher Than 0.5 Points!
