It seems like each time we call upon Victor Hedman with an NHL Underdog entry, he answers without hesitation. Tuesday night, he banged in the point we needed inside the first eight minutes of the first period. Thursday night, the Lightning welcome Chicago to town, and Hedman is already sporting 13 assists in 2023.

Schwartz has four goals and five assists during the streak, and his services will definitely be required against the Avalanche. Not to mention, those three assists have come against teams located in California, and on Thursday, he will be in LA. Karlsson has a nose for finding the box score against the Kings, registering seven assists in six games over the last two seasons. I’ve already used plenty of quotes and sayings in this article, so why not drop one more for Mr. McDavid? The one that comes to mind here is, “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!” The reason for using that saying is because the Oilers have been altogether terrible.
