Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – November 9
Trae Young – Higher than 3.5 Turnovers
Thursday’s Atlanta-Orlando game is being played in the Mexico City Arena in Mexico, which is even higher above sea level than Denver is. I’m expecting some tired legs and sloppy play. Plus, Trae Young isn’t exactly careful with the ball in the best of times. He’s turning the ball over 4.3 times per game this season and has turned it over 12 times in the last two games.
Dejounte Murray – Higher than 2.5 Turnovers
Do you know who else turns the ball over? Young’s backcourt mate, Dejounte Murray. He’s actually not that bad, coughing up the rock 2.6 times per game this season. But he’s had at least three turnovers in five straight games – the first two games of the season are the only ones he’s gone lower than 2.5 turnovers.
Paolo Banchero – Higher than 21.5 Points
Last season’s NBA Rookie of the Year looked like he was going to be stricken with a bad case of the sophomore slump this season, as he was ice-cold through Orlando’s first four games. That has changed, however, over the last three, as he’s back to his rookie self with 30-point, 25-point, and 22-point games. I like him to keep it going on Thursday and get at least 22 points once again.
