Our early game in Ohio this Sunday features a pair of teams heading in different directions. The Packers look poised to push the chips in and the Browns seem to be looking around wondering when everybody got chips. However, Cleveland does get to come home for this one – the place where they picked up 67% of their wins last season. They may need some literal magic to get that done here. For more, come check out this Packers-Browns preview.
The Packers look like an absolute threat to the NFL after just two games. They’ve rolled through both the Lions and the Commanders at home by 25 combined points. A big part of that has been the quarterback play of Jordan Love. His 120.0 QB rating through the first two games has him fourth in the NFL. Additionally, the defense, with new addition Micah Parsons, has been stingy to say the least. That fact has them in control in the NFC North and looking to gain even more momentum.
There is no momentum to speak of in Cleveland. After giving one away late to the Bengals in Week 1, they were chrushed by the Ravens by 24 points. They do get to return home for this one, but are in desperate need of more offense. Starting quarterback Joe Flacco has just two touchdowns on the year. Dylan Gabriel also has one having thrown only three passes. Meanwhile, they haven’t seen a rushing touchdown since the first score of the season – 6+ quarters ago.

Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns Preview and Predictions
Micah Parsons to Record a Sack (-188)
The Browns haven’t been great at protecting Joe Flacco this season. Through the first two weeks, he’s aleady been sacked four times and has been hurried quite a few more. That’s why one of my favorite Packers-Browns predictions is for Micah Parsons to pick up a sack. He got one in the opener and then split one last week. When you add in that his snap count is increasing, you have to imagine there will be a spot for him to pick one up on Sunday.
Green Bay Packers -8.5 (-105)
The Packers are a no-brainer to cover the spread here. They covered 8.5 in each of their first two games, and those came against much better teams – the Lions and the Commanders. Meanwhile, the Browns haven’t been able to do much on the offensive side of the ball and surely aren’t going to hang around if this game turns into a shootout. I know the Packers are on the road for the first time, but the step down in competition for this one shoud make up the difference and then some.
