Kansas has dropped something like 17 straight to its rival, by Colby Dant’s count, and two of the three guys took the Jayhawks anyway. The game kicks off Saturday, October 17 at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET in Manhattan, KS, with Kansas State hosting as a 4.5-point favorite and a total of 55.5 when the guys taped on October 13. The full slate is on the College Football Picks Week 7 episode.

Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Kansas State -4.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Kansas +4.5
- Colby Dant (@thecolbyd): Kansas +4.5
Colby came in hot. He thinks Kansas is the better team this year and called Kansas State fool’s gold, a team that has yet to beat a Power Five opponent. He added that the guys liked the Wildcats’ schedule in the preseason, then backed off once two of their offensive linemen went down.
His case for Kansas leaned on the offense. He said the Jayhawks severely outgained Arizona State in the loss in London, and that even in the Utah game, which Kansas somehow failed to cover, he came away impressed. The defense is the part he isn’t sure about. Still, his closing argument was about timing: there’s blood in the water, and if you can’t beat them this year, what year can you? Rock Chalk.
The second Kansas vote was a lot less romantic. One of the guys took the Jayhawks mostly for the four and a half points and admitted he didn’t feel great about it. Ryan stayed with Kansas State, and the Wildcats case got summed up in one line: everyone knows the cat eats the bird.
