Sean went first. He’d noted South Florida’s passing game isn’t very dynamic, with a longest pass play of 38 yards on the season, and while he gave their defense credit for not allowing much, he figured the UTSA offense would run it up on a team coming in on a short week. He laid the 7.5.

Colby was louder about it. He called it a smash play and called South Florida a phony, the same phony 4-0 team the guys faded with Temple the week before, which South Florida lost 17-13. His case against the Bulls: they barely got past Florida International, trailed Army most of the game before rallying, and only beat a Bowling Green team that lost to an FCS opponent by one score. His heart is with South Florida head coach Brian Hartline, who has taken shots at the dome UTSA plays in, but he pointed to UTSA’s 37-6 home record since COVID and said the Roadrunners usually get up for good American opponents. He’d play the over 50.5 too.
